CHOOSING A PLAN

Learn the difference between BANDIE’s three different plans.

UPDATED 25 MAY 2023

Your band only needs one subscription to BANDIE! All plans include all of BANDIE’s features. The only difference is the number of members:

BASIC plans allow for up to 6 different members.
PLUS plans allow for up to 20 different members.
PRO plans allow for up to 40 different members.

*if your team has more than 40 members, please contact us for information on custom plans and pricing.

A few things to keep in mind when choosing the right plan for you:

  • A member is anyone you’d want to give access to BANDIE - this includes your bandmates, your hired guns, your sound tech, your manager, your publicist, or even your mom.

  • All members count towards your account limit, whether they’re managers, all-access, or view-only. (For more information on the different member types, see Getting Started - The Management Portal.)

  • You can have as many of each member type as you like, as long as you’re within the total member limit defined by your plan. (Yes - this means you can have multiple managers/administrators at no extra charge!)

  • If you outgrow your current plan, you can easily upgrade at any time without losing any of your data.

Still confused? Here are some examples:

THE BASS-ICS are a weekend-warrior garage band who play a couple of gigs a month. The band has four members, and they’re completely DIY. They don’t have a team, so all four of them are heavily involved in band logistics: Bassist Jenny is in charge of booking shows and advancing, drummer Lex takes care of renting minivans and reserving hotel rooms, guitarist Kit organizes all their rehearsals, and lead singer Sam runs their social media accounts and coordinates merchandise. BANDIE’s Basic Plan is perfect for them: all four bandmates have “Manager” access, so they can all make updates in the Management Portal. They’ve also added Jenny’s sister Callie as a view-only member - she likes to keep tabs on what the band is up to, and sometimes she comes along to help them set up the PA and run sound.

PAULIE PLUS is a solo artist whose star is on the rise. He still does a lot on his own, but he’s got a small team too: his friend Maggie helps manage him, and he just signed with an agent. When he tours, he usually hires a three-piece band to back him up, so he’s got a small rotating roster of different hired players he calls on regularly. Paulie needs BANDIE’s Plus Plan: Paulie, Maggie, and his new agent account for three spots (all with “Manager” access), and his rotating roster of hired guns take up another eight (three different guitar players, three different bass players, and two different drummers). All his hired players have view-only access to BANDIE, so they can always see the info they need for whichever upcoming shows they’re personally hired for. He’s still got room to add nine more members if he needs to, which will come in handy as his team grows - like when he hires a publicist for his summer tour.

PRO SQUARED are a duo who are about to head out on their first stadium tour, and it’s taking a small village to make it happen. They just upgraded to BANDIE’s Pro Plan to accommodate their core 7-piece band, 4 substitute players who will join them for a few different one-off dates, a 5-person touring crew, 6 people at their label, a 2-person management team, their publicist and his assistant, and 3 people from their agency. They’ve given “Manager” access to themselves, their management team, their tour manager, their publicist, and a couple of select people at the label and agency. Everyone else is view-only.

IMPORTANT: We don’t recommend deleting and re-adding members on a regular basis - this can cause problems with advancing and access. For instance, the drummer you’re on the road with right now needs to be listed as a current member in order to access the current itineraries, but the backup drummer you’re working with next month will also need to be listed as a current member for you to properly add them to events as you advance, and for them to see upcoming show details.

Choose a BANDIE plan that gives you room to keep your whole team on permanently, including any regular substitutes or semi-regular hires.
